Back to School

It’s that time of year again, back to school.  Along with the carpools and homework comes the responsibility of making sure the kids are eating healthy at school and at home.  It’s hard to be creative on a schedule and not give in to their sugary desires.  We’re here to help with some easy, delicious and healthy ways to get your kids to eat their veggies.

  •       Do some weekend meal prep to fill lunchboxes throughout the week.  Cut up a head of broccoli, cauliflower, and some carrots and put in single serving size containers or bags.  Just throw in some ranch dipping sauce or pre-made ranch dressing to entice them.
  •       Broccoli sweet potato cakes successfully hide the broccoli if you have a picky eater.  They are easy to make, yummy, and can be refrigerated and reheated.
