At Smith’s Farm, we believe that every American deserves access to fresh, healthy produce. Through the Campaign for Produce, we are committed to increasing availability and awareness of fruits and vegetables, supporting our farmers, and strengthening communities.

The Campaign for Produce began as a lighthearted concept—imagining broccoli and kale running against each other in a playful “election” for the top spot on America’s dinner table. But as we developed the idea, we realized it represented something much bigger: the need to support local farms, increase access to fresh produce, and promote healthier eating across the country. What started as a fun campaign evolved into a powerful movement, uniting farmers, families, and communities for a stronger, more sustainable future.

Fresh produce should be available, convenient, and affordable for all Americans.

At Smith’s Farm, we are dedicated to ensuring that fresh produce reaches those who need it most. We are proud to provide fresh, healthy produce to food pantries across the East Coast, helping families in underserved communities. As part of our ongoing efforts, we are exploring ways to expand cold storage capacity for pantries and shelters, ensuring they have the resources to keep produce fresh and available for longer periods. Our mission is to make sure that everyone, regardless of circumstances, has access to the nutritious food they deserve.
