Immune Boost Smoothie

This delicious green smoothie combines apple, banana and pineapple with an entire cup of raw broccoli. Raw broccoli in a smoothie may not sound appealing,  but you can indeed hide this powerhouse of vitamins and antioxidants in your smoothie, and even enjoy it!  The sweet flavors from the other fruits will have you enjoying a drink that provides a major health boost.


  • 1 cup raw broccoli florets, chopped into small pieces
  • 1 apple
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/3 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 tsp honey
  • Dash of vanilla extract



Using a powerful blender, start by mixing the broccoli, almond milk and lemon juice. Blend the broccoli for a few minutes to break it down as much as possible.

Add the rest of the ingredients and blend, adding more almond milk if needed for desired consistency.
