Broccoli Slaw Detox Salad


  • 1 lb of Smith's Farm's broccoli florets
  • 2 carrots
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1- inch piece of fresh ginger
  • 1/2 lemon squeezed
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey (optional)


  1. Peel the carrots and put them in a food processor fitted with a round shredder disk. Shred the carrots.
  2. Put the broccoli florets in the food processor and shred them too.
  3. Put the shredded broccoli and carrots into a large bowl, and add the raisins and sunflower seeds.
  4. Switch with shredder disk in the food processor with a regular steel blade.
  5. Peel the ginger and add to the food processor, along with lemon juice, olive oil and honey (if using). Process the mixture in a food processor until smooth to make a dressing.
  6. Add the ginger dressing to the broccoli and toss until combined.
